My last zero! Where did the weekend go?! I woke up around 8:00 and laid in bed blogging since I didn't accomplish much this weekend other than fun and catching up which was great. I went downstairs once I heard mom up, and made breakfast; scrambled eggs, a bagel, and fruit. I had another appointment for a 2 hour massage at 11:00 and Maya came to visit beforehand which was awesome to see her and catch up. After my massage I headed home and put my AT sticker on my car, had leftover Thai, and gathered my tent and failed Jetboil stove to head to REI. My tent has some small holes in the mesh which let's the bugs in, and a small hole on the base that I duct taped so no bugs or water comes in but I figured I might as well get a new one. The stove was shot so I just got a refund since I already had gotten a new one on the trail. Turns out they didn't have my tent since it was a 2013 model and they would have to call some stores to see if they had it, but I did get the refund for the stove. They were mobbed and I was glad to get out of there, I headed to EMS where I feel like they actually have their stuff together more and have a better selection. I bought the majority of my stuff at REI, but now I understand why my mom likes EMS better. I got another Northface t-shirt so now I have 3 of the same shirt just different colors, another pair of shorts since the pink ones were built more for dance and are getting grungy looking, and another pair of low cut Darn Tough socks. I was in and out in no time. I ended up trying to catch up on the blog more, eat my pulled pork sandwich I never ate yesterday, and hang out with Hunter. The time came when I left to pick Lynn up at the train station! I headed there, drove around a bit, parked, and then there she was! So crazy, we've actually been apart longer than together but I've missed Triple P. We caught up in the car and headed to my house. Mom made one of my favorite dinners; kielbasa, peirogies, and green beans, and Papa came over for dinner and to meet Lynn. Dinner was great and we caught up some more, after we had strawberry rhubarb pie which was really good and then I realized how late it was getting, how much I still had to do, and how the blog wasn't finished. Mom started prepping my food for about 4 days, I blogged and then helped her with food. After Triple P and mom had some quality Redds time while I organized and packed upstairs. It took me longer than it should since I tried my smaller youth 35L pack; everything fit, but the straps and suspension didn't seem as good as my 65L so I'm sticking with Blue Bitch. Our plan is to get up at 6:30, and after showering and finishing up it's now after midnight. I couldn't leave the blog unfinished! Here's to a good week ahead; let the weather be good, let the body and mind stay strong, keep me healthy, and happy, let there be good water, and let's have some fun!

So my body has been waking up at 6:30; I conveniently use the bathroom attached to my room, and go back to sleep. Today mom woke me up around 8:00 for church, I made a Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwhich and off we went to meet my aunt and uncle. Hunter wanted to be with me most at church which made me happy, she did go between me, mom, and Heidi a few times though. We ended up going in the playroom so she could get down and walk around since that is all she wants to do now! Today wasn't looking like a good beach day like planned with Robin. Ryan told me of a wine festival in Goshen that we were thinking we would go to instead. After church we went to breakfast and I got a yummy veggie omelete. After breakfast I went home to shower and get ready for the festival. Robin met me at the house and we took my car since I've missed it so much! The skies were pretty dark looking and the GPS took us all backroads through Bristol in some downpours. It took awhile to finally get there this way but we finally did and it seemed the skies were clearing. I pulled into the grass and mud parking area; as I was being flagged forward I saw a spot right there in front, not going any further. I pulled in, we got out, and the guy pretends to tell me I can't park there. We joked for a bit and I said you can only break the rules, if you know how to break them. I hear my name yelled out the car window pulling in and it's Ryan and the gang, they made good time! We all headed in; me, Robin, Ryan, Rizzo, Tommy, and Andrew. There were a bunch of vendors, two indoor-outdoor buildings with the wineries, live music, and a lot of people. We crammed in for the first tasting. Nothing special, moved onto the next, and the next, and so on. It was so hot in the buildings; online they advertised air conditioning, but the buildings are semi-open in both ends so that wasn't happening. After a couple in the second building, we decided to take a bathroom and lunch break. I got a grilled pepperoni pizza, others got BBQ or a cheeseburger. We finished up the tastings, bought some bottles, and each got a glass of wine to take outside. You can't open bottles here but a glass of any wine is $5, not bad. We took the wine to a picnic table by the music and sat and talked. We were kind of in the shade so it wasn't as hot, then Ryan and I played frisbee with a cheap prize frisbee. Running all over the place, didn't last long. We got more food and I got a pulled pork sandwich to go, and headed to one of the winery's nearby. The day was gorgeous now, and we did a tasting which had 2 of my favorite wines from the festival, and Ryan's favorite which wasn't there for tasting. We left after the tasting to go to another winery nearby that we would get free tastings since we just came from the festival. We did the tastings; nothing great, but still bought 2 bottles to sit outside between us all and enjoy. It was a great day and we had a lot of fun, beach would have been great-but this was a great runner up. We left to head back home and mom and Felix ordered Indian to-go, my two requests: Thai and Indian. Once we got closer to home, the skies were black and cloudy and then opened up to rain. When I pulled into the street before mine, there was a huge tree down over the power line. Carefully, I drove over some grass and went under. Turns out we lost power and running on generator. We ate dinner and it was so good! Nick wanted me to come over for ice cream before he headed back to the island and me the woods, but after a big wineo day and now food I was exhausted. I decided to just stay in, play with Hunter, and give her a bottle. My shell necklace fell and broke so I superglued it, and the glue came bursting out everywhere and all over my fingers. I rubbed salt and water on them and most of it came off, but there is still a lot left. We watched True Blood recorded which I haven't seen in a season or two so I had no idea what was going on, then called it a night. I can't believe tomorrow is already Monday! Where does the time go?
First waking up at 6:30, I rolled over until 9:00- that's better. I came downstairs to a full fridge and made a feast. Scrambled eggs, two mini bagels with butter and honey, fresh mango, raspberries. And blueberries! It was so good. Mom and I headed to the shop to get my car, first stopping at Dunkin Donuts. I got a Oreo vanilla bean and it was amazing. We got to work and mom couldn't find the keys for the corvette which was behind my car, I had an appointment at 11:30 and it was almost 11:00. We had to leave so I could get there on time so mom dropped me off at Massage Envy and called Papa to see if he could go with her to get my car. When I made my appointment I asked if I had any credits on my account; she replied "18 hours." I debated using all 18 hours! But 2 will do, for now! The massage was great, it hurt a lot though. Not one of those enjoyable relaxing, put you to sleep kind. No this was beating every sore muscle I had, but it's good for me. After the massage I scheduled another 2 hour for Monday, and mom picked me up and brought me back to the house. My beautiful car was in the garage! I showered and got ready since Ryan was coming to get me to go to the winery in Coventry. When he got here, we got in his car and he tells me he doesn't have any AC...yeah, no. Go park on the street and we will take my car! Cassidy Hill is a nice place, I've been here before with mom and Felix, the problem this time was it was 4:30 and promptly at 5:00 they had a private party. We did our tasting, bought a bottle and two glasses for $2, and sat outside at a picnic table to enjoy a glass. They have a really nice porch, but the place was packed and nearly everyone was on the porch-way too loud. It was nice under the tree. As 5:00 neared we decided to find a spot to chill with the rest of the wine. Driving around for awhile until I realized where I was, we found the Nathan Hale Homestead that said encampment reenactment-we decided to check it out. I parked and had to pee for like 20 minutes so the hiker in me (who am I kidding I used to do this before the trail) peed behind my car. Ryan said yeah, were not staying here-it's $175 a ticket it's some fancy dinner and cocktails. So, we headed to the lake. My aunt and uncle live around the lake so I was familiar with the area. We parked and headed to a picnic table at the private beach. We sat and caught up and then moved down to the dock where Ryan said the water was so warm. It was so nice to just relax by the water. We finished off the bottle and headed out since I was meeting my family for Thai at 7:00. I dropped Ryan at my house, jumped in the car with mom and Felix, and headed to dinner. Robin, Heidi, John, Nana, Papa, Garrett, and Leah all awaited us. It was great seeing everyone, Angelo and Andrea showed up later too! We got spring rolls, dumplings, edemame, and I got chicken pad Thai. So good, and I think Hunter enjoyed it as much as I did! She sat with me almost all of dinner and was loving it. After dinner Heidi and John came over for a bit, we gave the baby a bath, and then hung out watching TV. After her bottle, Hunter fell asleep on me and it was just like before I left, but a lot bigger now! It's funny, I was telling my mom how during the first week; I felt like I had been out in the woods for a year. Now the days are very long, but it's hard to believe I've been gone almost 4 months already, I come back home and feel like nothing has changed. I guess that is a good thing.
